Covid - 19
Schwabe Chiropractic is open to in-person treatment by appointment only!
Here are the changes and procedures that you’ll be seeing in the office:
-Please stay home and call to reschedule if you have any signs of illness. Late cancellations will be waived for illness.
-Please wait IN YOUR CAR or enjoy the weather OUTSIDE THE BUILDING before your appointment and wait for us to call you in or text you.
-Please WEAR a MASK when you enter the building. NOTE: We cannot allow treatment without a mask due to public health orders (and the City of Denver requires masks to be worn in public spaces). You may be exempt if you have a medical reason for not wearing a mask or are under 3 years old.
-You will be required to fill out a risk assessment questionnaire prior to entering the office. You may be sent home dependent on risk.
-Hand sanitizer will be applied prior to entering.
-Your temperature will be taken prior to entering. You will be sent home if you have signs of a fever.
-Only one patient in the office at a time (unless you live with another who is being treated that day.)
-Please come into your appointment alone if at all possible. If someone has driven you, please have them wait in the car or outside.
-The office, table, and touch surfaces are being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each patient including pens, pads, and payment surfaces. I am using an EPA-approved disinfectant.
-No walk-in appointments are permitted.
-If you are high risk or concerned about coming in, please let me know so that we can discuss the best scheduling options for you!
-You are welcome to schedule a telehealth session even if you are able to come in according to our guidelines, but you would prefer not to at this time.
-I will be wearing a medical mask as well as gloves during your appointment and, of course, changing gloves and washing hands between each patient.
-Shoes will be removed (as always) in the hallway.
-Cloth furniture in the office will be unavailable for use.
-All reading material and “help yourself teas” will be removed.
-Please bring as little as possible in terms of personal items into the appointment with you.
-Payment should be made with credit/debit cards (no cash or checks please).
-Please consider using the restroom at home prior to your appointment. Ours is a public restroom for the entire building.
-Please be sure to let us know as soon as possible if you or someone you have been exposed to has symptoms of COVID-19 or has a positive test.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns at all!
